At Fairfax High School it is important that our students learn to be open to the world, while viewing its events, ideas, and phenomena with a critical eye. We want them to see, feel, and understand more. We want them to be able to tell the difference between that which is important and that which is not meaningful. We want our students to increase their ability to examine new ideas and to make meaning of them in ways that increase their opportunities for personal growth.
