THE PARENT CENTER
The Parent Center is located on the first floor of the main building in room 125. Joyce, Sarah and Tita are here to provide parents with important resources and information. The parent center is open from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. to answer your questions and address your concerns. Please stop by, even if it’s just to share a cup of coffee and catch up on what’s going on at school.
PARENT MEETINGS
Stay connected with your child’s school and stay on top of their education. Join us at our monthly parent meetings, generally the third Wednesday of the month at 6:45 pm, where you’ll receive valuable information. A school administrator will attend every meeting to provide school updates and address your questions and concerns. Check the meeting schedule for dates and topics. Also, check the schedule for our monthly "Coffee with the Principal". These informal meetings are held at 8:00 am with Principal Zubiate and are meant to encourage the sharing of information and ideas. PARENT NEWSLETTER
Committed to keeping parents informed, the Parent Center will produce a regular newsletter. To view the most recent newsletter, click on "The Parent's Roar" on the menu.
PARENT VOLUNTEERS
Fairfax encourages and welcomes parent volunteers. Opportunities for involvement range from assisting in classrooms and in the parent center to helping with school beautification and chaperoning student events and field trips. See Tita, Sarah or Joyce in the parent center for more information.
