SSC:  The School Site Council meets on the first Monday of the month, at 2:15 in the Principal's Conference Room.  This Council discusses all of the categorical programs at Fairfax, receives input from the CEAC and ELAC, and makes bugetary and policy decisions on the Title One and English Learner Program budgets. Elections for this year's parent representatives to the SSC were on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 3:00 pm in room 221.  

 

CEAC:  The Compensatory Education Advisory Council meets monthly to review the Title One program at Fairfax, and make recommendations to the SSC.  This council--better understood as the Title One Parent Advisory Council--meets once a month in the evenings.  Elections for this year's parent representatives were held on October 6, 2009 at 6:00 pm in room G-90.
