Dear Fairfax Lions,
It is my great honor and privilege to introduce myself to you as your new principal. My name is Kenneth N. Adiekweh and I could not be more proud to lead this illustrious institution of great tradition for academic excellence. I also want to particularly express my deep gratitude to my immediate predecessor, Ms. Carmina Narcoda, and my new director Mr. Jaime Morales for facilitating a smooth transition and fostering a very welcoming school environment.
I come to you with a broad range of secondary administrative experience in both the middle and high school levels, which includes 10 years as a math teacher and 13 as an assistant principal. I am confident I possess the solid leadership skills made possible by these experiences to enhance the successes that have distinguished Fairfax High School over many decades. I intend to form collaborative partnerships with all stakeholder members of the Fairfax community.
The diversity of Fairfax will be collectively celebrated enabling us to promote and practice fair and equal treatment of our diverse population. Every student will have access to first class high quality instruction. Fairfax High School will remain a LAUSD leading High School that continues to graduate all students to pursue a post high school education, and prepare them for the work world of the 21st century.
I look forward to the opportunity to personally meet each of you. Please know that you are always welcome to Fairfax and in me, you also have a principal with an open door policy. I want to hear your stories and get your perspectives of how we can work together to continue to make Fairfax a great institution of learning.
Kenneth N. Adiekweh
