Summer School Update
Due to limited District resources, the Summer School Program will be drastically reduced. Course offerings will be for credit recovery to meet graduation requirements for core and A-G requirements only. The list of course offerings and student eligibility are still to be determined.
The Transition Program for incoming 9th grade students is cancelled.

History of Fairfax High School
The Fairfax District was little more than bean fields at the turn of the century when Arthur Fremont Gilmore set out to dig a well on his 256-acre dairy farm near West 3rd Street in Fairfax Avenue.
